We are based in East Grinstead and provide business IT solutions to Sussex, Surrey and Kent companies. Developing a trusted relationship with you is important to us, so when you need us, you won’t go through to a faceless call centre – you will speak directly to one of our team.

Meet the Team

Tony Baulch Managing Director

He started his career in IT as an apprentice with the holiday arm of British Caledonian working it computer operations in their data centre, from there he spent several years at BT finishing as the lead support engineer for a large data centre in north London. A stint in the construction industry saw him supporting projects such as the Dartford River Crossing and the Faslane submarine shiplift. He travelled the country installing and supporting the now Sage SnowDrop HR and Payroll suite with payrolls of upto 40,000 people. He spent some 12 years in a senior role supporting retail operations of some 400 Texaco petrol stations, projects included the end to end validation of systems and data processes ready for the year 2000; the complete replacement of store technology to rapidly enhance supply chain automation which included automated ordering for stores with full EDI of orders to suppliers and invoices into the accounting system. With business changes Somerfield took over 120 of the Texaco stations requiring a complete new instance of our systems to be staged and a manged migration of services until fully merged into the Somerfield mainchain business. With a young family and not wanting to travel into London he started Ashdown Solutions to look to bring his years of automation and project management skills to server the SME’s based in the Gatwick Diamond.

Francis Herbert Technical Director

With over 25 years in IT Francis brings a wealth of experience withVirtual Servers, Office365 and desktop deployment and management. He will operate as our Technical and Protect lead supporting installations and migrations for our SMB clients.

Yuliya Ollis Senior Technical Support Engineer

An experienced helpdesk manager who has spent over 15 years working in the information technology sector. Yuliya developed her career and gained valuable experience through a number of roles within large corporations in America and is extremely customer-orientated.

Daisy is leading our marketing efforts while studying for a BA in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths university in London

Chloe Herbert Junior Technical Support Engineer

Chloe is our latest apprentice working on her BTEC Infrastructure Technician Level 3 qualification with QA.com as her provider.
